Our mission is simple yet powerful: to save bottles and cans from being wasted and transform them, with care and craftsmanship, into sources of light, warmth, and beauty for your home.

Our Story: A Rebirth Born in a Dark Time

ILLUMINA was born in 2020 , in the forced silence of the pandemic. During that period of forced pause, I looked at an empty wine bottle in a different light. No longer a waste, but a container of past stories , with a unique shape that deserved a future.

From that flash, an idea was born, and from that idea, a small artisan workshop was born in the heart of the Mantua plain . A place where slowness, patience, and respect for the raw materials give life to unique pieces. I am Marco Guidi , the founder, the designer, and the craftsman behind every creation. Every piece I make carries with it a piece of this history and this passion.

Our Process: From Harvest to Inspiration

  1. SELECTION: I personally collect bottles of champagne, wine and spirits, looking for iconic and characterful shapes.

  2. CLEANING & REGENERATION: Each container is meticulously cleaned, ready for its rebirth.

  3. ARTISAN TRANSFORMATION: In my workshop, I cut, craft, and assemble each piece entirely by hand . No mass production, just meticulous attention to detail.

  4. QUALITY DETAILS: I use only premium materials: 100% natural soy wax for candles, safe electrical components and warm light bulbs for a cozy atmosphere.

  5. REBIRTH: The bottle, which once contained a moment of joy, in turn becomes a gift: a lamp , a scented candle , a vase or a unique storage container .
